How to plan your course schedule?

What do you need to create a time-table?

 

  • FPO (Examination Regulations)
    All information regarding structure, curriculum, admission and examinations can be found in this document.
  • Module Manual
    Description of all modules available in the study programmes.
  • Students are expected to pass on average 30 ECTS of modules per semester.
  • All courses offered in a specific semester can be found in univis in the lecture directory.
    You can change the language to English at the top right hand corner of the homepage.
  • You can find the list of modules offered in the next 4 semesters in the long term planning of course offer of the Institute of Economics.

Example: Economics M.Sc. (First semester)

 

Compulsory Modules:

  • Advanced Microeconomics
  • Advanced Macroeconomics I und II
  • Econometrics I

 

For all details on the lectures and seminars offered at any time, please visit Univis.

  1. Click on 'Lectures Directory' --> 'Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences' --> 'Master Programmes'
  2. To see the compulsory modules for your degree, click on 'Compulsory section in Economics'. You will then see the list of modules on this page.
  3. To establish a time table, check the module that you wish to add to your time table. At the bottom of the list, click on 'Auswahl zur Sammlung hinzufügen.
  4. If you would like to search for the elective modules, click on 'Optional Section in Economics' to see the available modules in this semester.
  5. When you are done with adding all your modules to your time table, click on 'Class Schedule' under 'Layout to see your final time table.
